i drive a skoda felicia, it drives great .but on tick over there is a sound like a dry roller or roller bearing sound . iv been told it could be a tensioner of some kind .

need more info as hard to decribe on your decription

its coming from the left side of the engine low down. its spinning with the engine. and when you rev it a bit it gets a bit quieter but still there. its difficult to describe... dry rolling sound or marble in a tin turning round and around lol sorry, its bugging me and i'm concerned it will break when im out and about .

does your car have PAS and if it has then its the tensioner for the alternator belt
