My lovely seats are now up for grabs due to a slight change in circumstances.

They came from a 2001 MkIV, and are in lovely nick. Very little bolster wear on the driver's seat, passenger seat is great, rear seats are almost mint apart from the pull handle to yank out the seat base for flat loads is nearly broken on one.

Heating works brilliantly, amazing for those cold mornings! Adjustments are all fine. Side airbags all accounted for and cause no lights when plugged in.

Ideally would like £320 for them but open to swaps/offers including TVs, headphones, guitar stuff, BMW stuff... etc! Pics coming soon...

Not the best pictures, but you get the idea. They've done around 4,000 miles in my care, no idea what they did before. Any other info/pics, glad to get some...

Some standard FAQs:

- Will they fit in my Octavia 1 easily? Yes, took me all of half an hour. Rear seats pull out, front seats are held in with two bolts.

- Will they fit in my Fabia 1/2, Octavia 2, Superb, etc? Doubtful. Not impossible, I'd imagine, but doubtful.

- Will you courier these? Unfortunately not, they are rather large and rather heavy. Cash on collection only. I would deliver, but my Octavia is off the road and awaiting new ownership. They don't fit in my BMW. Even if they did, the fuel cost to get them to wherever you are would be... large.

- Why are you getting rid? New car. If I could, I'd put them in my new one. They're brilliant, and I'll miss farting in them. Plentifully.

Sorry, thought I had changed that!

Door cards- as above Golf ones didn't fit so used my Octy ones (which need to stay), and looms are all included. You get everything to do with the seats, and the very lucky collector will be given ample tea/coffee & whatever food is lying around... not veal though...

They will never fit into a Fabia MK1,

The front is do-able but you will need to destroy the current Fabia seats and the Golf ones to swap the seat sub-frames over. Since these are welded in place, you'll need to be very handy and have access to welding kit.

The rears will never fit, and cannot be made to, the shape and size of the Fabia compared to the Octavia is totally different.

Fair enough- if anyone wants it shipped then I'm happy for them to organise it. I've got a couple of massive pallets at home, but not sure how to protect short of bin liners & tape... don't want unhappy customers with a ruined interior!

Also- these are the 5-door Recaros which don't have the handle to get in the back. Perfect for the Octavia.

im tempted....although i have to fork out for another octavia as its cheap to sell parts then ill have funds......hopefully these will still be here
