  • We do a gt2260vk kit also going for some dyno runs tomorrow so il try post up some figures tomorrow of our demo Fabia I would try stick vnt if I was you. Dean@dirty-torque

check out members BossFox and devonutopia (amongst others who I can't recall right now) who run in excess of 200bhp IIRC.

There's a thread about it from earlier in the year, 250+bhp from the big guns on here.

Bossfox's old se was the highest i have seen, it was 260bhp if memory serve me right.

I dont know what the ibiza boys have achieved from the same engine though.

Cheers for the help guys.. Reason I asking is because I'm aiming at 350bhp

350???? Do you mean 250? 250bhp will most likely cost you double the average price of a fabia, hope you have alot of time and money ;) .

Good luck with it anyway keep us informed.

Already at 250 :) bored now so started buying the turbo and stuff to try get 350 :)

I hope you have shares in a tyre company :)

tbh, for 350 you'll need an extra two foot width in the bay to fit the turbo and 'tercooler :D would the block even take that much?

I hope you have shares in a tyre company :)

and MrClutch :D

Then I hope you got very very very deep pockets, I once got 480 bhp out of mine, but I also have fairies living at the bottom of my garden and live on fantasy island.

I'm only trying if I don't I'm not fussed... Even if I peak over 300 ill be happy so if I do ill post the photo of the bhp print out

I say go for it, the more people who try the better. Its gives abit of inspiration to us small frys who aim for the magical 200.

What spec is your car at the moment, turbo etc?

devonutopias was 275bhp, over 300bhp on nitrous though!

Well I got stage 2 hybrid turbo, egr delete, Milltek system, front mount, uprated clutch, an a megga map. If I'm totally honest I don't see why people think its hard to get big bhp.. I agree it's megga expensive but it's not hard... All I need now so I've been told is bigger injectors and a lot bigger turbo with tubular manifold.. Then a new map..

Garret pd150 hybrid? What torque you pushing and what clutch?

  • Author

Naa pd130 stage 2 off turbo dynamics.. About 400ft of tourque.. Helix single mass clutch

massively over-simplified, but head work, cam, nozzles and a hybrid 2260 should see you at 300 or thereabouts. engine internals will need attention also

Thats good results. How long have you been running that power?

Also sent you a private message for some of the stuff you are looking for.

  • Author

Running that power for about 6 months

Mine's bigger than yours :p :moon:

Oh ok, I just hate being bottom of the pile with 68bhp.

I'd be interested in having a squint at the 250bhp print out from a stage 2 pd130 hybrid.

Mine was completely maxed over boosting to near 3 bar and still only ran 218bhp

devonutopias was 275bhp, over 300bhp on nitrous though!

Right on first bit, wrong on second bit. 275bhp is the highest dyno I have done, and that was with the methanol on, and a tiny dribble of nitrous. I don't care too much about peak BHP. I want my car to be useable and I think I'll only want a little more power to achieve this. 350 is a big ask. You're talking race car only sort of power then. Silly turbo with no low down range, nozzles which would smog out on full throttle, and probably a fairly short life overall. I wouldn't be taking mine much over 300bhp until I get the kind of money where I can some P.O.S 2nd car (like a pug 306 TD) in case the Fabia packs up (which it will, a lot)

PS: - 250bhp from TD Stage 2? Are you sure? ;)

There is a galaxy which is running about 500bhp in Germany from a 1.9tdi a lot of engine work as been done to it

Yay someone who knows what there on about.. Tbh 350 is a big ask maybe even engine change but in all fairness if I get just over 300 ill be megga happy.. Naa ain't 250 exact lil under.. What turbo you be running to get over 300bhp ?
