Have run standard Night Breakers before and their reliability was poor. Don't know about PLUS ones.

thanks, how long they last?

4-6 months if that, on an Octy without auto lights.

My uprated Philips Extreme dipped beam has lasted 10 months with auto lights, by comparison.

I think as well, but they are nearly double price then the other two.

I had some Phillips ones in an old car - paid £30 for them and they were crap!

that's what I was thinking, if I pay a lot of money then want some good result

I would get onto a super who will actually guarantee a better out put over stock. You could also mention your part of a forum ;) this might scare them a little, and if your not happy could you return them?

I'm looking for some new high beam bulbs but don't want to waste money :(

'Which' magazine seem to recommend either Osram Night Breakers or Halfords Super Brilliance,

just thought I'd add to the debate!

I remember installing Phillips top of the range and osrams the Phillips performed better.

Halfords super brilliance are great and have been using them for a year now.

I found the halfrauds stuff awful, didn't last more than a few months. Ring bulbs have been excellent however. Brightness similar with each as both were +50%. HTH.

Did you go for the 55w ring bulbs as they do a range of wattage ones.

Just bought 55w H7 OSRAM NIGHTBREAKER PLUS for :$$$: 13.00 pounds delivered will update with result.

I think I'm going for the nightbreaker plus aswell, being half the price of the Philips xtreme.

Just a quick question about these bulb types. Do I need some sort of convertor or can I swap standard bulbs with these ones?

Straight swap dude. you just have to get the correct ones for dipped beam, high beams or both.

fitted, is straight swap as above, they look brighter and stronger in day light when fitted, so will see night action. Happy so fare

agree that was my reason as well, also excellent feedback and reviews

Cheapest I found £12.70 on eBay?

I bought them, from that seller, very fast delivery 1st class, nice and secure packing

I ordered these from the states as I fancied some yellow tinted bulbs as i heard the light carries further.

It does, but it doenst look brighter than the OSRAM Night breakers that i had in there before that. They were great! :)

The yellow ones are great and alot cheaper than the OSRAMS I bought from a local motor factors.

I'd reccomend the NOKYA's and they came in 4 days from the states :)

Oooh, yellow bulbs.. Ideal for Fog lights =)

Me want.

Indeed they do the H3's too :)
