Whats the most PC Plod VRS seen in 1 day

Featured Replies

Was visiting a Skoda dealer in Kent today , and there they were , not 2 not 4 but 6 Police VRS Octys , obviously in for service work . One could say less chance of getting clocked , if one was going to do such a thing . l

At Sherlodge were we. :D

Any chance you could have a word & see if they can map them to 120 bhp

saw a unmarked and a fully stickered vRS on the same day once...

Never seen any in the flesh, although apparently Hants now have a fleet of unmarked ones :D Also saw a fully battenburg'd Evo 7 year or two back which also made an appearance at the Castle Combe Rally Day.... only chance of outrunning that would be to nick a car with a range greater than 120 miles ;)

Even the Police Dogs are getting a small number of them, fully kitted out and adjusted to take them around in their own mobile, air-conditioned kennels (and I mean extra to the factory fit ;) )

A little off subject to vRSs as plod cars but still on plod cars.... was driving to college wednesday admiring the SL55AMG in front.... then bam! thing lit up sirens sounding... it was only an undercover merc SL55AMG   shot off somewhere.... now thats what im talking about for plod cars!

Kent Dog unit are getting 4x4 150bhp estates (Mk 1 shape). Saw several being fitted out at the workshops yesterday. Look good.

Thought it was 6...

Have seen one kitted out, just minus the stickers.

Looked very good, especially for the dogs in the back.

Slightly off topic, but info from another forum I read, a current traffic cop who drives a marked vrs has been told they are to replace them as they are no longer home office approved.

Im assuming that they havent tested/approved the Mk2 yet and cant get hold of any mk1's anymore.

Continuing with the sorry off topic

Which fool at the home office approved peugot 307's! I hope to god the office boys don't just get a load of brochures and pick the nice cars that they like when 'approving ' cars :D should be plenty of vRS's left and probably cheaper to buy for the forces?

That merc sounds interesting.Bet his mates were rather jealous when he was handed the keys to that!

Hampshire police have an unmarked black 05 reg Octavia which I have seen patrolling the M3/M27 over the last week. Not sure what version it is, but it was pulling over a beemer driver at the time. made my day, it did :D

Best look out for that, in case I'm making good progress along those two roads ;)
