The front has been cleverly disguised with tape to make it look like the current generation car.

Seems the basic body shape is quite similar but expect the details (lights, grille, bumper) to be a bit more sharp and agressive (a la Vision D)

The tail-lights seem very close to the MKII pre-fl with the reflector moved back into the cluster.

Those aren't the tail lights for the new car, it's disguised as exactly what you say front & rear!

Is it me or is the front much shorter (nose to wheel arch) and the back much longer?

That rear overhang looks enormous!

I'm not a fan of those awkward triangular shapes next to the number plate. They look awful on the Rapid and just jars here too. And it seems it will make its way onto all the new Škodas as I read the Yeti facelift will also get this...

I must say it is a very handsome car. Low and wide looking.
