They are properly awesome! The best thing we've got is a 'club' with a disco ball and a strobe light :(

Well the one in the first video is around £250,000 because its not just the led tubes its all the moving head and beam effect lights as well, so the whole lighting rig is around £250,000. Just the LED tubes is probably around the £50,000 mark. So not cheap but a great outstanding effect for a nightclub.

Any decent venue that's getting a revamp or starting for scratch will be looking at spending a few million so in the overall scheme of things it's not that bad but it's changes a club with one product and makes it cutting edge. Which is what our customers are willing to pay for to be that one step ahead of their competitors.

Makes perfect sense, I was just expecting the number to be a little lower. Living in Aylesbury I'd love for someone here to be willing to spend that much money on lights alone, but it doesn't look like they will do for a loooong time :(

Out of interest, did your firm do another Wonderland in MK recently? (Used to be an Oceana)

Yes mate we have got the contracts for all of the wonderland clubs and fingers crossed there are many more in the future

So for an area the size of say.....the inside of a Skoda roof lining about £10k?

You might get hit in the face with the 1m long strips but we would do single led that poke thru the roof lining which would be much much cheaper

I'm an audio visual technician, so rigging and lighting is part of my job. I can only appreciate the quality of the rig there. Very well done.
