Not sure where to put this, as I haven't seen a dedicated new owners' thread but anyway, just to say that I am really very happy with new Octavia which I picked up yesterday. It's a TDI 2.0 hatchback with 110bhp and 6 gears and it's so smooth. It's in black which could be a pain to clean regularly, but overall it's great. The best car I've ever had. It's a family plus version, which means it's an Ambition with a bit more, whatever that means...so proxima alloys, parking sensors, aircon, radio/cd etc etc all standard stuff. Big smiles all round.
