Ye I'd be cool with the pads I guess but wondering bout discs more so cheers man

disks are a complete doddle, one locating screw each disk, it's eithere a star or a torx type screw, before you unscrew the screw give it a tap with a hammer just to send a little shock incase any corrosion or dirt build up in the screw threads

People will say you need a wind back tool for the rears but you can improvise. If you have a welder handy you could make something up. I used a pair of long-nosed pliers with something stopping them from closing fully (making the tips of the jaws about 1cm apart). Put this into the indent and hold a lot of pressure on them as you turn it back in. It needs wound back nearly as far as it will go because of the thickness of new discs as well as pads.

Make sure you have a good screwdriver for removing the old discs as the screw that holds them on was stuck well in place with age and heat on mine.

Good luck with it!

True you don't need a wind back tool, but with one makes job so much easier. Or borrow one. My experience of fitting pads is be prepared certainly on the rears with wind back calipers. If calipers are well in a pliers can not always get pressure to turn. Also not everyone has a welder handy. But agree improvising can be done if you are game.

I made mine from a piece of scaffolding pole. and a g-clamp to apply pressure.

Yep done that one before and snapped a few G clamps too.

AND, when winding back, don't force it all the way till it feels like it's hitting a brick wall. If you haven't removed the corrosion around the piston before you do this, the piston may never want to come back out again. Don't wind them back solid, there's plenty of room. ;)

I used water pump pliers and a g clamp
