Normally I don't ask silly questions but can you guys let me know what if any experience any of you have had with the following tyres - are they too cheap to be any good?!

Go with the nexens out of those.

Never heard of 'em.

For those kind of prices I'm pretty sure you could get something a bit better.

I got some Barum Bravuris 2's on the last tyre change and they were pretty cheap but very impressed with them (they are made by continental).

Perfectly capable of handling the torque from the PD130 and never felt them slip beneath the car on any bend etc.

As Chris says go with the Nexens out that lot have a look on tyre reviews at the Infinity tyre's you'll find they are excellent if you like the car to randomly self park in a ditch.

or type the tyre make into google and get the review website up that way, thats the way i done it! For the same price id have the rainsports over the barums, the barums on the back on my curpra and it was all over the place!

You could end up in Infinity, in the nexens world.

Two things you don't skimp on with cars.......Brakes and Tyres! It's what keeps you on the ground and what stops you.

i have some infinity tyres on my Mitsubishi Delica 4X4 and they are very good on that vehicle

im sorry to say that it does not go the same for normal car tyres

my mate bought some when i got mine for the Deli and he found them not very good in the dry and downright appaling in the wet!

he took them off and sold them on ebay at a 50% loss after a week

he managed to get some Pirelli's at a good price and says the difference was worth twice the money he paid extra

Primary stockists for them are Neo Brothers, who run them for their racing setups as wets. So if that's not an endorsement for them I don't know what is.

Iv had nexens on the front of my octy vrs for 9 months & just over 10,000 miles & their on the limit.

Bit disappointed with them to be honest, wasn't comfortable with them in the wet either.

Deffo won't be putting them on mine again.

I have nexan winguards on the cupra and they are very good in the cold wet wether. They are grippy enough in the dry but not as good as a premium brand
