  • Enjoyed today, will give myself a push to get on track next time. I should of hopefully managed to get a picture of everyone. First time shooting any moving vehicles so could do with some improvemen

  • Why do we all do these events ? For the most part it's the chance to get together with other like minded Skoda fans. And also the chance to explore the speed thrill and handling of your chosen ride. W

Bugger, missed out on tracktime :(

Some people do find they can't go nearer the event. Keep your eye on the for sale section or this thread. In this thread only I allow non freedom members who have booked on and paid to shift on their tracktime slot, as long as I am kept in the loop at all times.

If you want, I can also add you as reserve #1 - I have no problem doing that if you really want to go.

Yes please do add me as a reserve :)

Jason, may I suggest that future Castle Combe track days aren't posted in the South West meets section but in the separate Track Day Action section, thus avoiding people such as Cossie missing out. I would have missed it had it not been for Johnny5ive PMing me asking if I was going as I usually only look in my local (South Central) meets section :)

feel free to shoot me down if that's out of turn

I'll shoot you down by saying, "Have you looked in the track day section?" :D :p

NO! you're going, you're running and that's that. (I'm not going on my own, Jerry)

As long as you pay tax on the profits - I know a good accountant. ;) I reckon I could set you up with HMRC, do tax return for the few quid profit, for say £200? :D

I'll be there Lee, even the wife is now jealous. I did tell her she could bring the Monte but all the slots have gone now.

I can meet you at yours on the way and take the Monte for her if you like

Technically I cannot "practise" without going down other channels, and work wouldn't be too impressed either. ;) So I retract my offer! :D

The Monte only has 80 ish bhp, I think you will be better off with your 125.7

Bugger, totally forgot to get my name on this. It's filled up quick this time. Jason, can you put myself and Ollymonkeynuts down as reserves. Fingers crossed some of you can't make it :-)

Shall do, but you are #2 and #3, so not a massive chance of getting in. You never know.

If this level of interest is generated for the Summer action day in September, there could possibly be 2 track sessions booked, but I would need 56 people as a minimum and that's a big ask! However, there are always those who would take part in both sessions. ;)

Jason, I'll see you shortly at weston, but I'd like to get more involved on track days, I dont know what the summer action day is, but we'll ave a chat, and hopefully, I'll be a new regular :)

Combe are using an image of a yellow Octy on track to push this day

There is also a red one in the background of the Scirocco image on the same page.
