I was like that in September but you'll be fine. Just listen to the instructions in the driver briefing and keep left if anyone is going faster than you. No-one should be overtaking on the corners, so just keep your eyes peeled.

bowen, my baptism of fire was an open pit lane at Oulton Park, I was amazed at how slow everything felt compared to driving on the road, it was really easy to judge apex's and brake points as cones marked them all, the only thing you need to do is draw a massive dot to dot from cone to cone.

I was also amazed at how courteous everybody else was, so on our CC day you are amongst like minded Skoda owners so should e even better behaved.

I just wish time would move on as I am keen to get out again.

I have the yellow stuff pads, I got them from larkspeed for £75 and they were great. I did 6 15 minute stints at Oulton Park and the brakes were great! However, when I changed them back to the standard pads they have eaten a few mm off the discs

It will probably be my last trackday for a while. I'll drive as I always do.

You always pass on the other side to the pit entrance.

This is so the faster cars are not out wide overtaking whn they meet someone coming out of the pits.

Also it means the slower cars are on the correct side to go into the pits without cutting across faster moving cars.
