Hi guys. Has anybody out there with a Fabia upgraded their DRLs? If so, which bulbs did you use and was it worth it? Cheers :D

Are the bulbs easy to change? How do you gain access to them?

thanks irfant for your advice, got the cree bulbs today and got them fitted, they are a vast improvement on the factory fitted bulbs and they give a crisp white light..cheers. :rofl:

Problem there is that you loose ALOT off light that way.

Those cree-smd is just 3w-models and since the reflector isn't built for the kind off light that LED's emits compared to halogen-bulbs, you will have poorer performance on every angle...

And another "treat" that they offer is the heat they produce.

Surely, they produce less heat but the heat goes straight to the aluminium heatsink and to the bulbholder.

If you're driving along at 20 mph that isn't a problem...

But if your standing still alot, they do get very hot and might even damage the bulbholder/reflector.

However, they look cooler so if you aren't bothered by the ****ty lightning or the heat-issue...
