As Silver says above, I activated his cornering fogs for him, and yes it is a VCDS job. It does not even show up as an option in maxidot to switch on and off when it is activated in VCDS. It's around the 07 plate age where activation is possible.

On a personal note, I activated the cornering fogs I my 08 plate Elegance, but have since switched them off as I didn't see any benefit from them.

Coming home/leaving home lights can be activated on any age of Octy 2, and if you have maxidot it can be switched on and the timings altered from there. If you don't have maxidot, the settings can be made through VCDS.

there is no "cornering fogs" on maxidot, even if enabled. its purely a vcds thing.

CH/LH on maxidot = yes.

i've got my CH/LH using the fogs, not the low beams (by default).

This is great, why are bytes 3 and 4 ticked please. I do not know what they mean? Also in byte 12 where the coming home is ticked for manual and automatic. Is manual for people like me with no light sensor. So I guess it works from having the headlamps on or off?

Didn't think CH/LH worked with the FLs without a light sensor??

Pretty sure I've tried to activate it for people before. Think the coding accepts but they refuse to work. Must be to do with controller updates, that it needs to receive information from the light sensor, on whether to turn CH/LH on or not

 

 

This is where I am stuck it all says should work but I have no light sensor I have 2010 vrs with Maxidot. There is an option to have the CH LH as manual though in the vcds. I wonder whether this would do it. I have read on Yeti I think that they have lights on and it works?
