Rub strips on a ferby mk 1 vrs

Featured Replies

Hey guys have they got any holes under neither them or not?

red and green deffo be seen ;)

I don't think they do - just stuck on bud

No holes, but the paint could be an issue underneath. A number of member have found paint blisters when they removed theirs, only solution in that case is to respray the whole door.

Like mannyo says, no holes underneath. I removed them from my vRS SE because they really spoil the look of an otherwise neat looking car. I didn't have any bubbling paint underneath, but it might just have been because I took them off pretty early in the car's life and was extra careful with the white spirit and credit card that I used to remove them. But then again, it might have been because I was lucky. Removing them certainly makes the side profile look "cleaner", if you know what I mean.

The only temporary problem that I had was the blue underneath the strip was a slightly different shade to the rest of the door, due to the latter's exposure to sunlight and all that. Three years on, however, and it's imperceptible.
