New sticker up windscreen

Featured Replies

I have a couple of stickers , a 'dirty diesel' one and some 'more door' ones in the sides... My favourite one is 'its a Skoda. Honest.' One...

I remember my parents having one of those Rovers! Happy days.

Personally, any sticker than a couple of inches square isn't for me and even then I'm not a huge fan.

I hate it. But then I hate all this scene *******s:

Low is a lifestyle

Sitting Pretty

Low Standards

Detailed

Clean Freak

Hellaflush

Roll Hard

Do something original, for Pete's sake.

Who is this 'Pete' guy and why should I do anything for him?

Its YOUR car and YOU like it, that is ALL that matters.

On the whole I think skoda drivers / owners here are of a "older" mind-set. I sort of include myself in this having a Brisky badge which I cant bring myself to put on the car just yet lol.

It would be a boring place if everyone did the same thing that is for sure ;)

but it's not something original; it's a scene thing, it's the same as every other car that has basically the same sticker in the same font in the same place?

^^^^ that there is the best reply i have seen, very well said sir.

whats it say?

I agree it's a fashion but if he wants to follow it then surely thats

up to him. He shouldn't be rounded up on like he has been in here.

We ALL follow fashions of one sort or another, so we are all fashion

victims one way or another. Be it haircuts, clothes, furniture, decor or

any other trend you can name.

I think a simple "it's not my cup of tea" would have sufficed on a lot

of these replies.

Not very community spirited IMO. What the hell is going on with this forum lately?

The OP asked for opinions he got them.

He did not impose any criteria.

No room for complaint.

I disagree.

There's opinions and then there's being blatantly and unnecessarily rude..... And then to stick ****-take stickers on his car to mock him could be considered bullying by some.......

Exactlly, and nobody else has, not even for sabotaging a picture of my car and giving me all sorts of unnecessary sh1te

Apparently i was bragging about street racing, erm no not quite!

Cheers 'gadgetman' :S

well unless it's been edited out, I can't see any reference to street racing?

Maybe mark it down to "experience" and move on I reckon ;)

I'll throw up some of my thoughts rather than a comedy IB4TL image which would have been normal when a thread starts down this route.

I'm in two minds here. OP asked for opinions. He got them. Has he liked all of them? Probably not, but as Gary has said highlighted 'each to they're own'.

OP being 'bullied'? Seriously? In my opinion the images of the OP's car that have been altered should be taken in the context in which they were posted, some harmless and in some cases amusing banter. That's what Briskoda is all about right??

If you're after a serious response post in the Roadside Hotel. If something irks you, or you feel it's offensive, use the report button.

If I'm over simplifying things please enlighten me.

There was no need for some of the comments, end of

Group of members getting together who obv have banter between em, then they try making me look like a plum even going to the extent of photoshopping my car

Pathetic

Thought this was a forum with plenty of mature adults on? I guess not

banter

Exactly that.

You may think my car looks ****, I don't care.

I may think yours looks crap, you shouldn't care either.

It's your car, your choice. If we all did what everyone else thought, we wouldn't be individual.

I think the warning was probably for your other thread the mods have edited now.

ways of going around it and ways of approaching people

no need be a sarcastic **** just looking for attention of other users looking for a laugh

got nothing decent to say or nothing that could give me a lil laugh (banter) then keep your mouth shut you miserable fart

Think I saw another vrs on Instagram with a dirty diesel sticker on it's windscreen, didn't look too bad, bit ott for me tho.

Red car with green sticker? If so its chino its the one that convinced me as i thought hmm i like that.
