New Year Trackday - Cadwell Jan 18th -

Featured Replies

Javelin have just sent me a Merry Christmas email including most of next years calendar

The above jumped out at me as a bargain.

The £79 is a "Book Early" price so will rise nearer the time

Yes it's a Friday but do any Briskodians fancy it?

I can't go personally but have done Cadwell on 2 wheels really enjoy that circuit the mountain is steeper than it seems! I use another company for track days and in case its of interest to you they have Cadwell full day for cars on 26/01/2013 which is a Saturday for £99 (Full day open pit lane) in case its of any use to you in getting more people available .

I'd love to take the JPS around Cadwell, but fear there might not be much left of it at the finish.....the car, that is, not Cadwell :)

Also they have a Novice only track day (Full day) in Feb for £79 might be good as after post Christmas pay day. Saturday 09/02/2013

Might be good for Brimma to take it a little more easy :D

Yeah I've dealt with club MSG before for the how fast event we did last year.

Top class but normally too expensive.

Mrs pasty has treated me to a gift voucher for javelin so I think I'll defo be doing the Cadwell day as above.

Brimdog do as you did at how fast and start slow and get faster throughout the day.

Tempted as still got the bug after the last one! :D

Sod it! Consider me BOOKED! :D

Now to look in to a travelodge the night before....

Travelodge booked Sleaford for £15!

Well, that was a very impromptu decision! Looking forward to going again!

Too far for me this one, Castle Combe will be my long distance treat in April, I did get an MSV voucher for xmas and will be booking a day at Oulton Park in the spring if anybody is interested?

Distance? hehe. I'll happily drive the 300 odd miles back to Devon after - no worries. Did it last time and was home by about 10pm.

I drive 45k a year for work so for pleasure it is a bind. I did drive 500 miles to watch truck racing at brands hatch once though, there and back in a day!

Anyway back on thread, I can't go sorry

You booked yet Mr Pasty?! :p

So so tempted by this, my birthday is at the end of the month too....

Have to wait until wednesday so I can clear it at work as there were rumours when I first started chucking the idea around that someone else had that day already off.

Can't see it being a problem though I should be there!

Not happy if I'm there on my own. Having another Skoda there makes it a bit more of a sociable affair

Lol don't worry i'll be there.

Even if I try to book it off they say no and I throw a sickie :)

Brimdog do as you did at how fast and start slow and get faster throughout the day.

He got faster? :-P only jesting Brimma.

Also would be interested but would have to be after Feb.

It truly is bleak oop Norf

:'( so ****ed I can't make this, but I just don't have the funds to dish out on days like this at the moment. One of you will have to keep up the reputation of 'pushing to the limit' though ;)

Boooo cancelled due to the cold, ice and snow.

full credit to be used on one of their events in the next 12 months

still down £19 for the travelodge though

plus the wheels and tyres (although those will come in handy at a later date i'm sure)
