I have been living with this abomination ever since putting my Recaros in:

IMAG0422_zps06915c88.jpg

I dunno how I've survived either.

Why does it do this well following the ever so kind donation of a couple of seat backs from Sam745 following his own Recaro-ing it is pretty obvious.

IMAG0427_zps9f442f46.jpg

Thershol dbe some hooks holding the seat back in place at the top but my passenger one has clearly been ripped/damaged/pulled off in the past as the hooks which hold it in place are missing.

Although clearly they were there once and clearly later held on by copious amounts of masking tape.

So a simple swap and I'd be sorted

Out with the trim removal tool ;)

But Jesus those trim clips were tough.

Still ready to break in all the same places as the once holding the doors cards

IMAG0423_zps1d26748d.jpg

on but much harder to make budge

Leaving me with this

Shall get a couple of new clips from VW shortly and all shall be right in the world again

20p spend on air as the pull to the left had got even more pronounced.

Pressures of 20-22-26-30 mean it would appear that i may potentially have 3 alloys which are slowly seeping air out

Yeah Friday Night! WOOHOO!

ok so I sat in a had a pizza while Mrs Pasty was out at a wedding.

Did then have to head from Gloucester down to Weston-Super-Mare to collect her.

Did pass this milestone on the way though

IMAG0439_zpsde1a7eaf.jpg

Despite the tears that were flowing when i arrived, and while she was dancing and when someone stilleto'd her foot she had a good time.

Even after all the vodka and soda she was sensible enough to take the spare key to her bosses brand new car in case he lost his while out at the after party in Bristol city centre.

She good isn't she

August 31st

After sleeping off most of a hang over the car was put into action to ferry us to a greasy spoon for a proper cure.

However on route we received a call saying that her boss couldn't find his keys.

Bring on half an hour of swearing while travelling the hour south on the motorway back to Weston-Super-Mare.

It was only half an hour of swearing as it quickly transpired that all drunken best laid plans are doomed to fail.

Turns out that while Mrs Pasty had intended to take the spare key "just in case" something silly happened; she had in fact taken the only key her boss had off of him, transporting it an hour up the road to our house!

Meaning he had no way of getting into his car, and thus home, following about 4 hours sleep (rumour has it he heading in to the Holiday Inn he was staying at just at they started serving breakfast at 6am.)

Like I said good isn't she.

Day wasn't a  total bust though as we headed out to the beach at Weston and spent the day chilling out - which was nice.

This lack of activity is super boring but i'm afraid when i'm on Wedding Savings mode i genuinely am sat in doing nothing most days/evenings/nights.

Fuel is required to make the car move, making it move it required to do something with it, so much cheaper to leave it sat still

Tidied up the garage to make room for the BBQ (no more sunny days say outside eating now me thinks) which meant finally getting rid of the final seat parts.

Loaded in to the boot and back seat with the intention of taking them to the tip.

never happened so they'll sit there a while longer, lets hope i don;t need to take more than 1 passenger somewhere
