Does anybody know off hand what the minimum ground clearance is for jkm's rollers? I've only got about 12cm under clearance from the sump to the ground... The car isn't low it's just a minor issue of the engine not being designed to live in there.

pretty sure when I was there last year, the Golf crowd had a fair bit lower ground clearance than that, Tom. I saw an R32 that you couldn't get a fag paper under and that ran AFAIK

Give JKM a ring they will be able to tell you for definate ...but I would have thought you would be OK on the rollers

Well, I have four weeks to get the mongrel back on the road now. Still shall be coming though (to spectate) if its not ready - Will be fun to give the 106 a bit of a roadtrip.

I'm booked on to a dyno in April more locally now too, where I am allowed (note: encouraged! ) to use my nitrous so it would be good to get the mongrel with two compare and contrast dynos.

As above, I was referring to my 106 1.5 N.A diesel with a whopping 58bhp.

if the mongrel is running by the 2nd it will come for a baseline dyno run and I will pay 100% of course

Still plenty of places on the rollers...we can have up to 40 runners on one of the most accurate rolling roads in the country on the day, good day out, free coffee and biccies...may even be cake as well

OK, mine's been serviced and tweaked yet again, advancing the timing on the cam slightly. So whilst fuel economy might not be the best, it should give some nice figures. All tuned by "Bobby". He/she might come along, don't know yet... After the previous two custom maps, this new one feels just right :love:
