instrument lights weren't on, that was the light from the camera, only the dials were illuminated.

I'm at the dealership tomorrow as I need to query a few things along with the DRLs, starting to get a creaking drivers seat already - windscreen steams up like nobodys business when it's cold (with condensation) and the tailgate sometimes creaks when I go to close it.

If you do mean the Dials were lit,

which is what someone else wanted in another post, that happens when the Lights are on.

When the Ignition & DRL's are on, only the Needles should light, Unless the Monte is Different from the vRS.

re Steaming Up. If there is no leaks

Are you using AC to dry the air in the car when its running for long enough runs,

& then taking wet mats out if its going to freeze overnight?

(Use Moisture Absorbing packs to get the car air dry,

I use a little pack of Salt to absorb the moisture.)
