Top tip - use blutack so that they don't come off when you're driving and those with itchy fingers are discouraged when they try.

Really?

Thy come off easily?

Does anyone know where these PLASTIC TWEEZERS are?

For removing the dust caps?

  • It's taken me a week to read this thread after my own Superb purchase! I can only say how gutted I am you sold Audrey! It was like a soap opera I didn't want to end. What am I going to do tomorrow?!

  • That's one hell of an aerial on the back there!...

  • It's not an aerial; it's the pole that makes contact with the ceiling grid.

Thks Martin!

I thought he SOLD em?

1st link looks tempting with good winter tyres.

2nd link cheap with just alloys...

And hes abt 20miles from me!

...not in a rush at the mo

...got me snow socks ordered...

...let me think...

Glad it was just the 1 tyre, bad enough tho that was. Sounds like some gorrilla might have used a windy gun on your wheel bolts? Might be worth checking they're tightened up to the correct torque when you get the new tyre?

I bought 1 of these for just a few quid- works quite well if you hold the neck in 1 hand and push down on the handle with the other. Being ever so anal I wrapped some insulation tape around the top of the socket where it goes on to the wheel so it won't scratch or chip the laquer
