Skoda Octavia vRS Estate - AutoExpress pictures

And it's horrible

You'd have thought they'd use a more discreet colour for a secret test car lol :D

And it's horrible

After having driven 3 VRS Octivia's over the past 7 years and loved every minute of it don't think I will be in another one that is one UGLY car.

Nothing wrong with it, will look good when uncamoflagued. But seems a bit uninspiring.

Yep.......Ugly.

Hopefully they tweak it a bit before release.

Looks like it's got a full length sunroof

Looks dull.

Taxi!

Looks like someones dropped something heavy on the front of the bonnet and sqashed the lights flat to me. WTF chose yellow! Hope it looks better when it gets released or people will mistake it for a Kia

Seems like a standard Octy but with vRS running gear. Where are the LED DRL and red calipers etc that the vRS mk3 will have?

Without the camo on it it looks fantastic

You are looking at a highly camouflaged test mule. I'm betting the final production model will look great and can't wait to get behind the wheel of one. :-)

That looks like an Octavia II vRS estate with lots of yellow, red and black masking tape!

If I could get hold of some race blue masking tape, I could make mine look like that - though I've no idea why I'd want too

There is alot of tape on the front of that car.

FFS I am getting sick of the vitriolic ranting and negativity on this site, especially at the site of heavily disguised test cars.

This is a car forum, you guys should know better than to think the car in the Autoexpress photos is what the final RS is going to look like!

We already know what the front's going to look like - that's not in dispute. The rear is OK - two twin exhausts and a nice roof spoiler. Looks OK to me and what a colour...

I think we all know it's disguised, but the undisguised pics of the estate look dull and too similar to the mk2 unlike the hatch which is noticeably different.

You could equally say that you are sick to death of people posting pictures of obviously disguised cars in order to get opinions

WTF is the point? You can only comment on what you see

True, I stopped posting these kind of pics recently for exactly that reason.

I'm just saying let's wait to see the real thing before we all decide to hate it!
