It's fair to assume the vRS estate you'll get to drool over in a UK Skoda showroom will look very little like the mule on the OP.

Twin pipes look good! It's certainly hard to see through the camo, they've done a good job making it look rubbish for a reason!

Can't wait to see the real thing to be honest! I've loved all the Octavia RS so far, and I think the next one will be a nice evolution!

Disguised or not I cannot say I like the rear shot that shows the shape of the side windows from rear to front .....

It's yellow (which is the worst colour for looking dirty), it is very dirty and it's a disguised test mule.

Any comments on the aesthetics now would be premature.

Agree the rear section looks very Superb-like, but with that front end, it's more plausible that this is the updated Octy shape. Besides, why would they be driving around in a camo'd Mk2 Superb?

You can see the new style rear running lights through the Mk2 Pre-FL reflector disguise, remeniscent of the early pictures of the Mk3 hatch that were doing the rounds at the time.

Skoda might, as there is a facelift coming. Does look like the new Octy though, camo on the front matches the "leaked" pictures of the real bumper.

Makes me wonder though - the sensor for adaptive cruise control and auto braking - it's so low down close to the road, prone to get really dirty really fast and might also take some damage from rocks and debris.

I'm still not sold on the shape/lines of the front end of the Mk3. Eager to see one in the flesh though as photos may not be doing it justice.
