VRS SE - did the goodies get retrofitted?

Featured Replies

Anyone know if the VRS SE came to these shores fully loaded, or did 1000 blue cars arrive for Skoda UK to retrofit all the extras. I've seen a photo of the blue cars parked up with what looks like standard VRS white/black seats in bags nearby - did these seats get leather retrims or did they just replace them with new leather SE seats?

No real reason for asking except for interest...

From what I've seen posted previously the seats were fitted dockside in the uk as if you were early enough ordering it you could pick your number

Yes the goodies were fitted after arrival in the UK.

Some of them. The tinted windows etc came like that, but the seats were fitted after.

The leather was always fitted after anyway wasn't it? Even as a option?

Does that mean there are a thousand white black vrs seats kicking about somewhere? Or were they retrimmed?

op can we see this photo, just out of curiosity

I think the only thing that was fitted at the docks were the leather seats.

The red callipers, cruise control, CD changer and privacy glass were fitted at the factory.

*sniff* I miss my #082

I wonder if we can recreate those pics at the national meet? :)

The bottom photo was the one I saw, but thanks for the other two. I have #810 so it's in that picture somewhere.

Maybe there's a warehouse somewhere with 1000 white/black interiors, unless they all just got scrapped or used for replacement stock.
