I don't own a Skoda Superb just yet but have a an Audi A4.

The A4 has a very handy ashtray just below the media screen which I use to stick all my coins in. Having looked at a few pics of the Superb, under the climate control unit, there just seems to be a black curve. Does this open up into an ashtray or is it just a curvy design feature.

Nope it's a ashtray/coin tray with a 12v supply.

Good to know as I like to keep my change in the ashtray rather than in the actual centre armrest cubby.

The other thing is when it's open the top slides back to make a perfect place to keep your mobile phone - plugged in by a short wire to charge, and connected by Bluetooth. But it's totally hidden from site, and you can either hoot it out or simply slide the lid of the compartment forward to retrieve. Ace!

was just about to post that! i also do this, and it keeps the phone close to hand but also out of sight

this is a wee cubbie just below the light switch i use it to keep my wallet in handy to just open it and get out without having to lean over to the glove compartment i also put my satnav in the cupboard below the passenger seat (don't think you get it with heated seats?) keeps it well away from prying eyes

Ah, I see. I think I have something similar in the A4; an opening just to the right of the steering wheel.

I love this wee cubbie. I often forget it's there and it puts a smile on my face when I discover it again. I'm easily pleased! :-)
