yea more or less it stops just before the turbo my mate did it who owns an exhaust place in auchinleck caltec systems

Looks very good

Your mate has skills!

You need to replace that egr valve though! Its fluffed

Are them pipes on the wrong way round isn't

You NEED to get braided fuel lines as well. They will look the sex

nope perfectly fine this way heat rises so intercooler is cold pretty much always top pipe is warm on idle this is the way he did to his aswell and his was dynoed at 182bhp

That pipework looks great, but I seriously don't understand cutting your crash bar so much.

Surely it massively reduces the front end strength of your car in a crash?

probably does yea but i wanted it all on show and it sits better there alot of people run without them .. i dont look at it this way though id hope after the 1 time i had a serious crash it will never happen again

Yes pipework is better this way! Its known as a flip pipe!

Hot air rises so better coming off the bottom of the twin pass for the cold side

Looks lovely man that pipe work makes it look immense.

You need to tell your mate that he should sell that pipe work, a lot of people on here would want that ;)

Looks good, personally wouldn't want the pipe poking out of the fog slats though

I like this, definitely a steal compared to the other options. Could it be mounted lower? Also what reduction in intake temperature did you find over the SMIC/ambient temp throughout the rev range? Even with slats cut in the wheel arch I still peak at 60c on the SM when I punt it..

As above, would he be interested in a group buy for those too skint to get Forge or Seat kit?

Not sure on temps it could be mounted any way i want really tbh and the pipe that sticks out a litle is just the way it hapened lol i think it looks abit cheeky GROUP BUY LOL i had said to him and if there is enough interest he would replicate mines

Pipework looking good although cooler is abit small for the size of the bumper..

And by the looks of the pipework its stainless steel??..

Alloy is alot better as it doesnt heat soak like stainless.. especially with the pipework so close to the engine..

im sure wrapping the pipes in heat wrap will solve that and all one piece pipes im willing to accept that for a better air flow :)

intercooler im sure there are bigger ones nothing a hose cant fix or a bit of extra pipe

defnitly prices needed for group buy

Even wrapped s/steel will heatsoak alot more than ally..

U can get one piece ally pipes made up if u weld them together.. see darksides kits..

Im getting all my ally pipes welded together by a local fabricator for less than the price of the sylicone hoses ;).. guna get pipes this wkend then welded next week :)

How does the pipe fit at the top where the EGR is? Looks like original EGR and connection?

Where does any movement of the pipes go? If its all solid (and you have even welding a support bracket between them) the only thing that can move would be the turbo case on the inlet? depending on the welds I can see this being a possible issue.

^^ hes said hes got a group buy egr delete that needs fitting..

Im guessing hes done what im doing.. 1 rubber 90º at egr.. one rubber on each end of fmic + another 90º At the turbo.. shud b enough for engine movement.. although im getting 90º sylicone on the fmic instead of straight so more rubber for engine movement..
