Featured Replies

i have an H reg old Skoda favorit and finding it very hard to find a replacement fuel pump for the one that failed on me about a week ago.does anyone have any suggestions please? im in the birmigham area, west midlands. thanks

location ?

Suggest your nearest Skoda dealer or

JHM Butt and Co who will do mail order of Skoda parts mainly OE sourced direct from CZ on 01303 710868 they are based in Doncaster

order a couple of paper pump flange gaskets while you are at it if reqd they fit either side of the black spacer.

its fun when the diathram splits and petrol fills the sump - as it did in one of my favorits consumption was very high and the engine extreemly ratly - had a shock when I checked the dipstick

Best of Luck

John

Have you tried the Skoda Owners' Club website? There is a spare parts and tuning section in their links page.

PS Welcome to Briskoda

The Skoda parts catalogue lists a fuel pump for a 1987 - 1992 Favorit, so why not try your nearest Skoda dealer?

I believe it is the same mechanical pump used on the Estelle and Rapid as on the pre-injection Favorits.

I know my old Favorit had the same glass water trap bowl filter on the pump as 120L estelle I had before it did.

There's a place down Dorset way that breaks Skodas and often have spares for most Skodas.

They're at www.skospares.com (IIRC... :D)
