Featured Replies

I like it muckle, & I think it is the DB's.

Price tho.!

My guesstimate is Basic OTR will be showing at £23,850.

Can we start a sweepy on its price ?

I really like that...

I like it too. If it handles anything like the old one it will be a riot. The main thing that put me off getting the last one was poor fuel economy and this one looks to have sorted that.

Evo are estimating 19k, but it's not clear if that is list or target buying price :D

Chris

If they can offer it at just £500 more than for just the most basic new 2013 1.4 Twin Charger SEAT Ibiza Cupra, that will be some bargain IMO.

well its out about the same time as the 208GTI (just under £19k) and the fiesta ST (just under £18k) so I would expect it to be prices similar..

I wouldn't consider paying more than the vRS £15k normally, but this seems a step up! flash new dampers to give comfort AND handling (that renault do well anyway) extra features on the twin clutch gearbox, adjustable ESP for track days to throw it around, fuel economy and tax similar to the vRS , torqey turbo engine, leather interior, that will have renaults new media system i assume.... 18's in anthracide on options...

if you add all that kit, and it costs circa 18k, I would seriously consider it!

keeping my eyes on this one!

I thought it was just me!

But i love it too!

A bit like a newer moderner baby Golf GTI and those wheels!

But - no, its still a Renault :-(

Not a fan of the front end personally.

Also lacking a proper gearbox, so for me it's a complete no-go. :( I can see that maybe helping to bolster the prices of the previous shape too.

These are the pics tht melted my heart...

Nice, wonder what the tuners will be able to do with it now it has a turbo?

The front in that photo reminds me of the iRobot Audi. Not a good luck IMO. And the doors bulge in too far.

It's odd, I like most Renualts design, but not that one.

I was thinking stage 1 at 230-240 bhp?

If its anything like as good as the old cliosport 172 and the williams before it then it will be amazing its now got better looking as well. the turbo unit will be easy tunable and more reliable than the old 1.4 R5 turbo which used to go pop regularly even without altering the boost.

The price will be circa £19-20k by shopping about but in three years you will be able to pic one up sub £6k which will be an absolute steal for a small track car. I would have one tomorrow if i didn't have to worry about dodgy electrics etc. Performance figures always seam to be understated with these aswell if it s official 0-60 (0-100kmh) is 6.7 secs then you can pretty much assume that you can do it in 6 secs with well timed gear changes. My williams said 8.0 secs 0-60 and it was more like 7.5 and the cliosport was also half a second quicker than its stats according to gps and santa pod anyway.

I'll have one if Nicole comes with it :giggle:

I ll have two only if she wears tht dress!

I'm not a huge fan of the looks to be honest. I looks a bit like we're viewing it through a fish eye lens,

I'm sure it'll be great to drive, but it doesn't look all that special or different enough from the billy basic version - unlike the outgoing model.

By the way, that isn't my missus. :drunk:

Not a fan either to be honest. The fisheye lens was what came to my mind when i saw it and this as well:

Good stats - may have to have a peek! But no, it's French...

Aye i have to agree on the front, it looks very odd.

matter of fact:

I'm sure it's good fun, but I'd still have a Skoda any day

5.0 litre engine that produces 130bhp.

I'm pretty sure they tried to make it more **** that it is.

If it's good enough for Wayne and Garth, it's good enough for me.
