You'd have thought they would have had the pictures taken on a turn table so you don't see the lighting gear and valeters stuff :giggle:

Looks good

I think i want an rs/ scout!?!! Looks really nice!

Want it. but should i take it in White or Raceblue???? All the pics are are in that boring silver metal.

It's not just about the loadspace though - estates are (generally) much easier to load due to the larger opening and flat load-bay.

Do the rear seats fold completely flat like a V70 or Merc E. If so then I'm very interested. A nice looking estate.

They should do, they do in the Octavia II, you just have to fold the rear seat bases forward.

It looks really nice, might be my first new car :)

Can't wait to see one properly!!

That looks to me like a fixed glass roof.

Interesting.....

Noooooooo!!! Please say thats just a pre production photoshop then! It has to have an opening Panoramic roof - its about the only 'equipment' requirement for my next family car!

The hatch shows a traditional sunroof as an option, and that's what I'd prefer - I do like a bit of fresh air. A full glass roof would make it very light though.

Friend has one on his Alhambra - great bit of kit, kids love it!

Yes, I have it in the Yeti (same unit as fitted to the Alhambra) and the blind is back every day. My kids love it and I wouldnt want another family car without it tbh. Its incredibly beneficial on the summer euro trip and as soon as there is sun here, its opened! :sun:

My bravo has a double sunroof (skydome in fiat speak) where the front half can be opened and it is very nice. Makes the car much lighter but can also let air in. That would be ideal on an octy, but very unlikely.

Ah right, I'll give this a try later today.

I can confirm the panoramic roof on the Octy estate DOES open!

Sold!

Those roofrails are a nice design...! :nerd:

I would have loved that roof on mine! Can't beat fresh air sometimes.

My only regret now is that I didn't spec a sunroof.

New vRS estate VERY tempting. Can't wait to see one in the flesh. It might tip me over the edge!!

LIKE! Thanks for posting. :)

I have a difficult choice - I have a fixed £25k budget as it's a company car, but there are several features that I really want - Sunroof, DAB, Premium Stereo, Winter Pack.

I could get a CR150 hatch with those plus metallic paint, leather and the 18" wheels and sports suspension, or wait for the estate and lose a couple of those options.

If I wait longer for a VRS I'll get more power and the bigger wheels as standard but that would probably mean dropping one of my "must haves", and if I wanted a VRS estate then it's almost certainly going to be standard.

First world problems, eh.......

The good Dr,

Are you not allowed to throw a bit of cash in yourself?

If not, and if it was me, as long as you're not a "spirited" driver (so don't really need the independent rear suspension that the vRS would give you), then I would do the 150 CR Elegance specced-up as you want.................because I know what I would feel like driving a car without ALL the options I wanted, having been able to buy new.

Just my view.

I'd hang on for the Estate - but then guess it depends how important some of those options are to you.

Estate is debuted at Geneva Motor Show this week

I'd have to see how much extra the estate is - I could always lose the sports suspension and leather in favour of the extra room.

Our scheme doesn't allow us to contribute extra, but I might be able to squeeze an extra couple of hundred quid out of them if the lease is reasonable.

Assuming you went for the Elegance model and the uplift was, say, £1.5k over the Hatch - then you could get the winter pack, 18" alloys, CANTON and sunroof for £25.4k.

Is the DAB standard? It appears to be?
