I like the look of these carpet fixing knobs in my Superb:

But, i had some of these black plastic hole pieces in the carpet where there

was missing the beige knobs:

Now, my genuine superb flood mats came with plastic screws.

I tried to screw the screws into those black holes - didnt fit.

I try to buy these from Thomasz (SkodaParts):

... And thought i coulf buy new knobs and push thm into the plastic holes in the carpet.

But, after further research it transpires the plastic holes were the broken remnants of the beige knobs.

So to replace them i need to buy new knobs (that comes with tht black plastic hole) ...

...remove door trim to remove carpet to remove the black plastic holes to put in new knobs.

Ok, 1stly no jokes abt knobs pls ...ok maybe a few :-)

2nd anyone confirm my research to be accurate?

3rd if so, how to remove door trim/lift carpet to put in new knobs?

No.

They seem to stuck to the underside of the floor carpet.

So tht the black plastic hole never comes out of the carpet.

Its like tht black plastic hole has a larger back piece which is behind the carpet to hold it in place - and just the black plastic hole protrudes through a small hole in the carpet. Thn the knob fits onto the black plastic hole?

I still think the knobs can be pushed onto/into those black plastic holes.

May buy one just to have a look ...
