Help needed please standard vrs

Featured Replies

I've had my vrs for around 4 months now and have done the usual exterior modifications like black grill and alloys, wind deflectors but I'm regularly reading post on here and jealous of pretty much most vrs's on here. I'm just after a bit of help as to what modifications i can diy to make the brilliant vrs better. Any help as to what I can do and where to get the parts from would be appreciated, many thanks in advance. Martyn - farnborough

Are you looking for performance? Exterior? Interior? Ride? Handling? Grip?

There's so many that can be done :)

After a bit of everything to be honest its my second car after a rust bucket of a 106 and planning on making it quality as planning on keeping this car as long as possible

lowere on a set of nice wheels. 16 or 17" no bigger. and your done!!!!

TT comps are popular..

A remap is a must and best bang for your buck IMO

A remap is in place to be done, I've read on a few articles about anti roll bars, bushes, colivers stuff like that, the little things that make the difference is where I'm lost to be honest

Whats your budget like?

How much are you looking to spend?

What would you like to focus on first?

How DIY are we talking? Some people class a Turbo change or FMIC as diy, others would only go as far as serviceing it.

I don't really have a budget, in my opinion if its worth getting I can always save! Cars are always a work in progress

Top things a good service, coilovers, 312mm brakes and a remap.

Front strut brace are pretty cheap. Also leon cupra splitter is a cheap one for looks.

De bump strip if you like can be free. colour code door handles maybe aswell.

Then you can go turbo, fmic and clutch kit.

most people seem to consider a rear anti-roll bar as essential.

+1 for the rear anti roll bar, best single thing I have done to my VRS

Rear anti roll bar. 312 front brakes and a re-map will transform your car. Speak to Clive at www.cntuning.co.uk he's fairly local to you and Is authorised Shark mapper in your area.

Cheers for the help!!! Where would I get the rarb and 312 brakes from as searching online and have no idea which ones i would need

My first performance upgrade was 312mm brakes. They feel amazing and well worth the money

Things I would do.

Remap

312 brakes

Rarb

Armrest

Rear interior lights

Standard alloys refurbed in gunmetal

Lower suspension setup

Cupra R splitter

Seat surgeons interior

If money was no issue of course.

Would agree with the above, apart from the seat surgeons interior, unless you want leather. Seats from the Mk2 Fabia vRS look much nicer than the Mk1 Fabia vRS seats.

Oh yeah the Mk2 vrs seats are very nice, but I've never seen a set for sale anywhere :(

They are incredibly rare, unless buying direct from dealer. :)

Any Mk2 Fabia vRS's i've seen being broken have already had the interior removed. :(
