I'd love to know why the folding pax seat is so "nifty & useful"?

Do you carry around lots of 10 foot lengths of 4x2 ?

Actually, I do buy quite a lot of timber, and it's (proportionally) cheaper in longer bits!

Also handy for Ikea bookcases. I reckon it'll get used about four times a year, and I'm happy with the cost per use on that basis.

Four Ikea bookcases in a year? You need a Kindle. :giggle:

It was a dozen a year before my best beloved, Lady Bertie McHobnobs, got a Kindle.

Well I carry sails for my boat which need to be kept reasonably flat and the drop down front seat makes a pretty level (but not perfect) run from front to back.

Also occasional long stepladders so no need to put the roof rack on!

I have the same problem when i windsurf. I carry multiple sails, I use these based on the weather conditions. Normally these reside on the roof however when I'm sailing I need to store the ones not in use somewhere else, else they would disappear, hence they get stored in the car. The folding seat would be useful. However seat tables are more so for the sprog, and the se+ you cannot get the folding front seat...

So, early impressions...

1) The new Bolero is much better than the old one. Enormously faster to read an SD card and to navigate through it, and the annoying volume jump at around 25% has gone.

2) The extra speakers do make a richer, fuller sound - I think they're worth the extra.

3) It seems a bit quieter overall - less road and engine noise gets into the cabin.

4) It's a bit thirsty - presumably just because it's not broken in yet. I've been getting about 35-36mpg on shorter journeys (it's 6 miles to my workshop) and about 42-43mpg on longer ones.

There's an annoying buzz/rattle from somewhere around the right hand side of the instrument binnacle - will pop back to get that fixed when I'm next working from home. Otherwise all good. The colour still surprises me - too used to having a blue Yeti on the drive. The green does suit it though.

...Still a CR170 4x4....

Perhaps you would add that to your profile or signature, else I keep having to go back through your posts to find it :hi: ?
