Bought from Capitol Newport. Picked up today - Jan 2012/61 plate 4800 miles. Black roof, black wheels, white body, red seats, Skoda mats. Autoglym treated.

I asked for a MDI cable to fit my Samsung phone and that wasn't ordered and auto-locking to be set up, but not done, and some spare oil, not given and the service book not stamped up either.

BUT two touch up pens given, a MDI cable for my iPod given (with the promise of one to fit my phone to come), car serviced and nicely valeted, a couple of chips touched in and a good deal. I go back on saturday for the other bits. Fingers crossed

Im sure someone with VCDS could activate auto locking for you if garage says they can't.

The garage said they would and forgot. It's not a big deal as the just gone Fabia 2 didn't have it enabled. I have taken to locking myself in when in inner city areas recently...

Ah ok, slighly dodgy areas then lol.

Might be worth having a browse around the mk2 fabia section, see if there's anything else that takes your fancy the garage could enable while your there.

I'll have a look but the only things I could see when I looked before that could be enabled was the audible beep on locking, the digital MPH bit and the auto-locking isn't it?

Not 100% sure but think you can change the diff setting too....xds setting or something like that.

Best thing to do is check out whos in your area with VCDS and message them, will be more knowledgeable about what can be changed.

I'm still waiting for my missing luggage nets from capitol. Still like dealing with them though.

Self Locking,

are you saying it does not currently lock the doors once you reach 15km/h?

(When you take the key out the ignition the doors unlock again.)

Untill you get it Activated if not already,

Or if you are in the Car stopped and not driving,

just press the Central Lock button in front of the Gear Shifter and lock the doors.

i would get used to the car before even considering changing them.

Have you checked and set your own tyre pressures & reset the TPMS yet?

& Dipped the oil hot to see what level it came from the Dealers at, ?

just so you know where they filled it to.
