 hopefully they will have wiped that off and put a towing hitch on the back :D

Let's hope they treat it nicely and it's not too fly-spattered by the time it arrives! ;)

Chris

Ooh! How excited are YOU? :D

Hi Nick

Nope, but he has rung and may be a bit later.........I'm stuck now as I got the insurance swapped over at noon to the new one :D

I'm coming down to Cardiff for a week on Thursday so I'll have a look out for it then. :D

It does go rather well :D corners with very little roll and it's not bouncing all over the place like my elegance did........in fact I'll just go and check all that to make sure :D plus my son and miss piggy want a go as well

although it doesn't have the sheer grunt of the pd 130 diesel it just carries on going and going in each gear ......60 in second  and I can only guess at over 100 in third so why do I need two more gears

Back soon...ish

Agreed - 3rd in an Octy vRS is AWESOME. Got up to 105 at Knockhill on the main straight before braking - hard - for the bend (Duffus Dip?)  The only place I could keep ahead of the Furbies

What it will be like after the Star remap next month.. :D:D:D:D

ive just had miss piggy annoying me about that fact she got to drop the octy vRS :( so unfair

alan might have ask you for a passenger run next time at knockhill after the remap :P

She only got to drive it in second..:D ....It's the handling that I like, and the sound of the engine when it gets really going, I am sure my chipped 130 pd tdi was faster to 70 at least though

You're on, Andrew. Prepare to be terrified :D:D

Only 60 in second :P ? You were obviously not trying Rob - I'm sure I've had 70 on the clock in second  . Should be good for about 105 in 3rd gear :D:cool:

When are you getting it re-mapped? :D

I'll get used to it as it is for now :D There is a green filter to go in when it stops raining...then I can see what it's like as a normal car before deciding what map I want ....at the moment a high torque remap seems likely (to help with towing).......Miss piggy has driven the car and loves it, my son drove 500 yards and stopped and got out ....says it's got no feel to it.......I know what he means ...it's quite boring to drive slowly, but it does come alive when you start using it  ...and having a car that doesn't roll is magic
