How does the light output compare to the vrs out of interest?

a bit worse and a bit better, the light is spred better but the brightness is less.

Thats y iv got the up rated bulbs in just need the fogs now, are thay the h3's i need?

Yes the wheels are generic, dont real no wat that are, i quite like them, thay are in good nick and realy clean.

I have a 2002 L+K 110bhp skoda, i wish to update the body work to that of a VRS. Is it just the bumpers, alloys and exhuast box that will be required? Are the rear lights the same?

If its the Facelift then all you need are the bumppers alloys and back box, im not jealous at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the rear spoiler, at least for a hatch. Oh and a tube of clear mastic to fill in the water feature that forms at the base of the rear screen and floods the boot when you open the tailgate with the spoler fitted.

You only need the front bumper, the rear one is exactly the same apart from the exhaust cut out, a 2 minute job with a saw lol

Hi All

I have change cars slightly....................

I did have a MK1 facelift 02 plate VRS but now i have got a................................. MK1 pre facelift 1999 TDI GLX, think its the 100 bhp modle but not 100%

Will get pic's up asap.

It's a realy clean car and the MPG is amazing ( 56 mpg avrage ), altho i do miss the top spec feel the VRS had, but needs must and now my monthly car bills have dropped massivly.

I few things i need to no:

Can i fit the facelift lights to it?

Can i fit a Bora 4motion splitter to it?

can i big mouth it and will it look S*it?

And who wants to sell me the above for cheep cash LOL?

Any info on the TDI whould be good, good or bad?

Cant help you at all with that list of stuff, however, if you are interested, i am selling a set of injectors from a 110 asv engine which will go straight into your new car. See parts for sale section.

Yeah.... i have to get around to doing this... though after 12 months of ownership, ive gotten into the habit of opening a little, watch the run off, then go the rest of the way.

it forms with or without a spoiler along the bottom of the galss. goddamn it is a design flaw that surely couldve been tweeked at the facelift?

Heres a pic of mine after 114k miles. I cleaned it out, I wish I had time to do the intake manifold and turbo whilst I did that but I didn't.

Wow, thats bad. Mine never looked that bad, but after a quick elephant mod and EGR blank it looks much cleaner :-)
