Although I tend to drive so economically these days the tyres haven't been tested much yet.

Got the alignment sorted today as it wasn't quite right. All good now.

Realised how good the exhaust sounds when the bloke from the garage drove it onto the ramp, first time I've been outside of it while someone else is driving it.

I need my wheel alignment sorted ASAP after i fitted my coilovers! Pulls to the left a bit now. How much you pay mate?

It's rare that you hear it driven by someone else but makes you realise how good it sounds!

Took a couple of beading shots this morning. Washed two weeks ago, not touched since. 

 

Nice, its lasted well, what polish are you using mate??

Didn't use any polish last time. 

 

Snowfoamed, washed, dried, sealed with Gyeon Q2M Cure, then Sonax BSD and a coat of Autofinesse Temptation on the bonnet before the sealant. 

 

Needs another wash now and a top up. 

 

Have got some Poorboys White Diamond polish to use too. 

Make sure you post on that polish, thinking of getting some myself

Gave the Fab a clean today. It needed it! 

 

Fully waxed with Poorboys Natty's Paste wax.

Cleaned the leather with some Gliptone cleaner my friend bought. 

 

Then later tonight I fully sealed all the glass with Carbon Collective Glass Sealant. Two coats with an hour in between. 

Have left it in the garage overnight so it doesn't get wet. 

 

Then we'll have to wait for rain to see how it performs.

Haven't done anything to the Fab in a while. Have however ordered a few detailing bits that will be put to good use once my uni exams are over!

Was going to give the Fab a quick clean today, only had time to snowfoam before the rain started! 

 

 

Also added a couple more stickers to my box of detailing cloths.

 

Couple of updates over the last few days.

 

Fitted some pressed plates, was sitting in my lounge sealing and waxing them before I fitted them, bit over the top?

 

Also with the help of a friend fitted my splitter that I've had sitting in the garage since December! 

 

 

The rain was on and off all day but we got it fitted in the end. Makes the front look a lot better in my opinion, makes it appear even lower and matches the grill surround. 

 

Also sorted my shelves out in the garage with my cleaning bits.

 

 

Going to need bigger shelves soon I think. 

So finished my uni exams today so a friend, the missus and I all went to Prept at Brands Hatch tonight.

So that means the Fabia needed a clean before we went!

I used the Carbon Collective Lusso shampoo sample Mark sent me, was quite impressed, very slick but not too soapy.

Also a couple of packages were delivered today too, one with all the service items I need, including the pollen filter, which I fitted this afternoon. A load of leaves fell out when I removed the old one.

Very easy to do, took less than 5 minutes.

The other delivery was a nice parcel from Amazon:

Citrus power makes cleaning so easy so had to order 5 litres.

Went for Temptation as its the first full size wax I've bought and the reviews say its very easy to work with.

I used the Kleenfreaks quick detailer for the first time today too, very easy and gives a good shine and good beading.

Aiming to give the Fab a proper clean tomorrow including clay and polish, that's all weather dependent though, hope for a dry day!
