Actually, I redlined the Nissan for the first time today, and it goes quite well up that end. I just don't like the 80mph = 4000rpm in fifth..... Not used to revs that high when cruising....

Jason, just take it easy on the engine, parts are silly expensive. I stupidly ran with no water in the rad and took out the cylinder head, head gasket and ecu. If I had the head skimmed, new gasket and ecu you would've been looking the wrong side of

Confused the hell out of it. I called Nissan and the said take to dealer, which I did, they checked the ECU and even sent it away, but it was unsaveable, couldnt even load the original settings back on.
