Down from £22 from last year. :)

Wow.

I'd settle for it just being £22! :hi:

OK, so £22 is not going to give me a holiday but this is a 8% reduction and is the 3rd year in a row that the premium has come down.

My main point is that this disproves the arguments from the doom and gloom merchants that insurance premiums are on a never ending rise.

This company at least is recognising where the risks are an charging accordingly

Mine dropped from £850 to £470 this year....

I think you've missed the point that as it's 'Down from £22' then that must mean it was £22 last year!

ah.........

Down from £22 from last year. :)

To what? £21.99, or lower still?

£22 - 8% = £20.24

Can I have the name of your insurance company please, I was happy with £247 but now I think I might have been ripped off! ;)

ok ok ok, point made. Down £22 from last year.

Jeez pedantic or what!

Mine has just come through and is a tenner down on last years premium. £307 and that includes NCDP,Legal,Rescue and guaranteed hire car. One of the few advantage of getting old I guess.

Just renewed mine, £338, I'm 29, 7 years NCB. Had protected NCB and £100 excess.

Lovely.

Mine dropped by £300 in February, that was just by switching companies though as admiral wanted to put it up!

Are companies realising that the phrase "brand new customers only" just means that folks will not stay loyal . Though I admit i'm looking for the company that's going to save me £299/£200 or an "epic" sum. Be nice to get a cheque from them for a change .

Mine dropped from £650 to £430 despite increasing the insured value (new car)

Stever750 - just noticed your cars - we talking Alfasud here?? - cracking car in its time but thought they had all rusted away by the late 70's! - or have Alpha resurrected the name?

Expecting mine to drop a bit when I have to renew in early July - well I did previously have a 325bhp Impreza STI so I'm guessing an Octavia VRS will be cheaper....
