Superb Elegance 1.9TDi 130 with factory options - now SOLD

Recommended Posts

Hi

EDIT: The car has effectively been sold for the past two weeks. However, due to monumental logistical problems, the chap who wants it can't get to collect it and accepts that if I can sell it to someone else before he is able to collect, then I should. So, it's now available again - and I've added some photos lower down the thread from post #15

Just decided to sell my Superb, so here's a quick heads-up about the car and I'll add in more detail and some photos when it stops raining - and I've washed it!

Skoda Superb Elegance 1.9 TDi

5-speed manual with the AWX 130bhp diesel engine

2005 / 05 reg 74k miles

2 owners (demo plus me; I've owned it for 7 years)

Service history (main dealer and indy specialist), loads of paperwork history, recent brake pads and MOT til 23 March 2014, with no advisories.

In addition to standard Elegance spec of the time, this car has factory-fitted options of: sat nav; privacy glass; full Nappa leather; glass sunroof; 10-spoke X-tended alloy wheels.

The standard Elegance spec of 2005 model year includes: bi-xenon headlights; front and rear heated seats; electric front seats, with driver memory; folding rear seat; climate control auto aircon; rain sensing wipers; auto-dipping mirror; elec folding mirrors etc.

I'm thinking £3200 is a haggle-free reasonable price to both parties...

Cheers

Steve

What colour is it? And where are you?

I would guess red and also guess somewhere where the reds manager s retiring at his last home match today and the ones with the blue shirts lost yesterday somewhere else. :wonder:

9 out of 10 on a technicality. Photos are coming, but got to wash it first. I've been away for a few days and had put this thread up as soon as I decided to sell. Suppose I should have prepped the car first  .

after being a member for several years, I feel rather embarrassed to have to ask... how do I upload photos? :S

As a new member myself perhaps I'm not best placed to answer this ( ) but perhaps upload the photos to one of the many image hosting sites and then use the image tags to link to them (found in the menu above the window when you post a message).

Hope that helps.. :)

I use Photobucket, you will need to create an account, easy enough and free. Just upload your pics to there then select each image you want to upload to here. Near the bottom right of the page of the image you have selected to upload you will see a box the same as shown in the image below, just click the image code, 4th selection down and it will copy it. All you need to do then is to paste that code into the reply message box in your thread/post and add text or whatever and then just post as normal.

  • 3 weeks later...

OK - so now I've discovered how to use this photobucket thingy, here's a couple of snaps to be going on with. The car has effectively been sold and unused for the past couple of weeks, but no end of logistical problems means that the chap who wants it can't get to collect it. So, it's now available again...

I'll go and get some better photos as soon as I can...

I have to say I wasn't taken by the colour, but a friend photoshopped a different set of VAG group alloys into it and voilá; worth e wry penny you want IMHO.

GLWS!

Thanks to those of you who expressed interest in the car but the sale is now complete and the new owner has collected her.

Not a sale I was quite ready to make, and I've no idea what I'll get once I'm in a position to get a replacement. First things first... find a job!
