What gear should be used for a mk1 vrs on a rollen road 3rd or 4th ??

Only 6th gear is different!

Every rr i've been on in my puff uses 4th gear

Generally 3rd or 4th depends if the dyno is coast down etc, e.g dyno dynamics doesnt really mate - except 6th.

Other should be 4th or 5th.

I thought the other ratios were also different throughout the o2m boxes. Will check my rr graph, pretty sure it was 3rd.

On dyno dynamics its a misconception that you have to chose the closest to 1:1 as they dont work like other dyno's, if its not a dyno dynamics I'd use 3rd of 4th.
