Stu & I took the standard bracket + car to a local metal working place, charged 50 quid to modify the bracket etc (2 hours work). It's worth doing IMHO.

Count me in i know a hell of a lot about the company making these sumps gaurds due to my step mum all i can say is the quality will be and is outstanding from what she has told me.

:bump:ing this as I'm interested to see how many people are interested. It's a fairly essential mod for anyone running a setup lower than standard.

I have a feeling the cost may be putting some off, but it's a top quality product and has been developed specifically. And it's a damn sight cheaper than repairing your sump/engine should the worst happen.

I don't know whether it would be worth contacting a few other companies, I know of a few possible steel fabricators who *may* be interested, as I think it's the reasonably high purchase cost that's putting any other interested parties off. Although Josh did manage to get the required amount of people first time round :confused:

Just to warn you all, if you have the Forge FMIC, the holding brackets need bending / angle grinding for the sump to line up and fit properly!

right, i've been doing a bit of digging around today, and it seems that the sump guard which fits the vrs wont fit on the 2.0 model becuase they are a different shape underneath
