It's the way of modern smallish Skodas.

No bigger engine choices.

Even the Rapid only goes up to a 1.4 petrol or widely used 1.6 diesel.

The market for budget cars with high running costs just isn't there.

Not for people that buy them new anyway.

I suppose it's only the larger vehicles with the L&K ranges that run these engines apart from Octy vRS

According to their configurator they only do the 1.2 HTP, four 1.2tsi and two 1.6 diesel.

 

They do offer 65 colours including.... Fanasy Green !!!   (with a beige interior)
