Review from the back seat

Featured Replies

Just thought other forum members would appreciate my thoughts as a passenger in the back of a Superb 2.

Firstly, after I rolled up at my fathers house in my Octavia 2 he decided that due to continued issues with a VW Scirroco (engine failure) that a Superb was in order.

fully specked with the 170 bhp diesel engine and dsg. Wow, the back is comfortable with loads of leg room, the car, in my view, is a stealth pick. In top trim form why buy a passat?

Just come back from Greece it's the first time the leg room in the back of an E Class failed to impress. I think the Skoda rear seats are also slightly higher than the fronts which helps. I've ridden in the back a couple of times and it is good. Passengers often remark, we travelled about 200 miles recently with 2 six foot plus passengers who were perfectly comfortable.

That's the first thing my wife commented on during the test drive - how the rear seats were quite high which gave her a great view both inside and outside.

i myself use one as a taxis and must say the compliments and tips you get are great, and almost make up for the more money it costs over the octavia i was looking at at the time great cars

Sorry, you are going to have to speak up. You are so far away, back there!
