PiD, SD card not seen. SORTED

Featured Replies

I had a problem with the PiD not seeing the SD card.

Tried switch on with card in, switch on then insert card, hard reset and everything in between, all with no success.

It then dawned on me.... The SD came out of a mobile phone and was formatted as NFTS

Reformatted the card as FAT (default for pc's etc) and problem sorted.

We've now got tunes playing from the SD card.

Only 1 snag now. If we use the scroll arrows in the tunes list, the PiD crashes.

Easy work round.. Using the track skip buttons on the radio works just as well.

Footnote. Thanx to PixelViking for his advice on this. I wouldn't have got there without him. Cheers matey

What format is the music??

I may re format the disk as it used to be in a mobile phone although it can be seen by the pid, just can't see the music.
