Cheers mate

Want leather mate. Cloth is crap. I miss my r32seats I had in my octavia vRS.

SE seats are full leather are they not?

I think the words 'rocking horse ****' come to mind, Billy :(

For marginally more you can get a new retrim from Seat Surgeons

Yea thought so.

Was just a thought.

After the trip home from work I just want shut of it lol.

Got a lot of work to do on it

I think a Seat Surgeon retrim is about £1k ish. I've got Octavia VRs seats in mine. Black leather with a white cord material type stuff in the center. Not as supportive or figure hughing as the Fabia seats but good god their better to clean.

I have the same seats and think they are alot better than the fabia seats for support!

I bought mine off Pastyboy on here. I think they prob cost him maybe around £250 to do all in, obviously i paid more because he gotta make some profit as he done the hard work of sourcing all the seats and stripping them.

Octy vrs seats are much better but dont hug you like the fabia ones.

They have lumbar adj which is a must. The fabia seats are crap for that.

I put r32 konigs in my octavia vrs so I had the hugging and lumbar.

Dont think tge fabia is worth putting that kind of money int tho.

Miss my octavia. Should of kept to original plan and finnished the octy off and had the fabia as the daily. Muppet springs to mind.

I'd do a retrim over getting SE seats because:

1. They won't be in an SE.

2. You can have what you want, not blue piping in a non-blue car.

3. SE seats are not heated, if you get them done yourself you can add heaters! :)

4. It'll be a lot more personal that just some seats out of someone else's crashed car.

I had my whole Yeti done in Nappa Leather and it's lovely. :) (better than my SE seats)

If it was me and I wanted my support AND cow skin i'd be buying a set of scabby mk4 golf recaro's and then sending the fronts to Seat Surgeons to be retrimmed in leather, along with the Fabia rear seats.

I'm sure Seat Surgeons will have all the relevant patterns and be able to do it no problem, your car would also retain it's standard seats while the work was being done so it can stay on the road.

Then all you'd have to do would be swap the foam and back rest of the Golf seats over to the Fabia bases and job done.

I guess it depends how precious you are about it.

Lol

Cheers guys.

I am not attached to this one. Its a car unlike my octy. Hence why she had to go really as it was an unhealthy obsession.

Just thought it would of been the easiest way to get leather seats. I remember someone was selling some a bit back. He wanted 1k for a pile of stuff inc the interior.

I thought they would of been heated being an se but guess I was wrong. Never use that option lol but its nice to have there, the wife likes it.

Oh well. I just cant help but mod cars. This was ment to stay std. That lasted all of 2 days then I put the octavia brakes all round as they were not needed on my octy. Then rarb coilies remap pd160.....

Why did I ever come on this site lol its cost me a fortune!
