Oh Yeeees nice & sunny, looks like i might try & arrive just after 7 for a pre grub drink will be by myself as  SWMBO not coming to this one - other arrangement.

Burnt the midnight oil car is done bar a road test which I'll do tomorrow morning (a gentle one) so its looking good for the evening. Chris and co ran me ragged at the garage tonight to get it done, I mentioned working time directive and break entitlements which was well received :moon: decided working in a sweatshop ain't for me

 

I can't recommend Snodhursts over in Chatham enough, they have done a great job on the car over and above what was expected and agreed. Fingers crossed still looking good for tomorrow evening/

The Citigo is booked in for its First service tomorrow now with Sherlodge, althought i have noticed a whistling sound coming from the engine bay now :/ bit worrying but hopefully i will be at the meet

Not long now, getting hungry.

Did the run on sunday a few cooling issues with the temperature all over the place possible thermostat. made it there and back in one piece which was the objective.

Hope those that had a ride haven't any particulary lasting psychological traumas. Apologies to those that fancied a ride and didn't get one, I can only carry one passenger in it at a time because of the speed bump and soft rear suspension. If I was a little lighter it would help as well!! I'll bring it along at the next meet, if its dry and working, if anyyone fancies a quick spin.

Thanks for the little blast out Mike, the car is awesome & a testament to your dedication and skill set! I really enjoyed the ride, even if I didn't have the same internal reaction as someone else.
