Just got myself a classic car.

Featured Replies

I've been thinking about getting rid of the Fabia for a while and was thinking of an Elise but it's just not practical with having a little fella. Then I got thinking about having a second car.

So I've got a nice little British classic instead.

Mechanicaly it's very sound but the paintwork needs some TLC and it's nearly as powerful as the Fabia!!!!!

Yes it a Europa - a twin cam special in JPS colours which I believe is one of two hundred.

how the hell did you find one of those

Shear luck more than anything else.

I was looking for an Elan and discovered it - I've always loved the quirky shape and Colin Chapman was a genius. It's got the twin cam Lotus/Ford engine in it unlike the earlier one that had a Renault engine. The gear box is a Renault one - five speed too

Very nice :D

Very nice.

Very nice indeed. I remember having a model one of those as a kid, was always a fave.

Looks good  - the cream interior will be a barsteward to keep clean though ;)

Commendable vehicle, Madam.

Cow :finger:

I've just got a K reg beige beetle but at the moments it's a pile of poo.

Give it 18 months and it will kick your Europa's ass :P

Very very very very very nice!

Everyone seems to be taking the classic car route at the moment!

Very nice indeed

Very nice that, great interior, it looks in very good condition.

lovely. It's nice to see a classic Lotus that isn't an Elan.

And if you're going for JPS colours, it's a better choice than a Capri!

These old classics may not actually be all that fast, but they certainly feel it. My B V8 isn't all that quick, but it's a lot more fun to drive than a modern car.
