Whilst cleaning the interior last night, ready for customers tomorrow, I found out that I'm missing something from my Octy Estate which I found very useful.

 

On the Octy, behind the top of the rear seats there was a storage box which ran side to side, it was only about 6-7 inches but was handy for storing umbrellas, kites, kids toys etc. Realised that there isn't one on the Superb, just a silly flap :wonder:

I used to own a mk2 estate and indeed it was useful. However, I only discovered its existence at around 12 months of ownership!

I was surprised this was missing in the superb too.

Will the Octavia one fit under the silly flap thing?

The Superb gets the cubby in the rear door instead.

I've got some of that stuff you use to stop rugs moving around to line the cubby. Hopefully it will stop things sliding around in it.

Whilst probably wide enough, I don't believe that mouldings are in the side trim.

Correct but I used for other storage, plus the storage in the rear doors is not that good.

I didn't like mine in my Octavia, it kept falling out and it made getting our buggy in difficult.
