Reminds me of an A3 Sportback. Bet it doesn't come with that ride height though.

Interesting that it's shorter than the hatchback.

  • That's why I want a Porker, I'm not feeling enough hate as an Audi owner. And as a verified sith lord I feed on hate, it makes me stronger.  Mwhahahahaaah!

  • My next car will be a Mk3 Octy VRS.......seeing as I ordered one this afternoon

  • Not sure what's next, have a few options with work, new car every 6mths for around £230 a month, nice spec A3 sport back Sline, new A3 saloon, up the budget a little Black Edition A5 Coupe. But then

I'll either end up in a Mk1 Octy or Superb 1.9TDi 130bhp

I really fancy a Volvo S60 D5, but fuel costs with my 100 mile a day commute mean frugality is a priority....and not being French.... :giggle:

I just can't get interested in Hybrids.

After the Ampera I dislike the penalties of carting around the gubbins of a petrol car and an electric car.

An EV should be designed from the ground up to be an EV.  And an EV fits in to my pattern of use.

Problem is I find few cars these days actually appeal to me.  I have a short attention span it seems, often changing my mind.

I can see me selling up and just keeping the Yeti which is bought and paid for (for towing the Citigo to track) and driving an EV every day.

That's fair enough.  The conversations I'd had around this at work had been along the lines of getting the Volvo from a BIK perspective but most probably never actually plugging it in!  Agree that the extra weight isn't gonna do wonders for the ride though.

Space Back could be an option, it will also be out before I need to order, so lets see what happens as £27,000+ for a Golf GTD is taking the pish.

My current thinking is to keep the Superb long term and when its paid for next year look at something like an MX5 or an early Elise as a fun car for weekends

Long term maybe a Jaguar F-type once someone else has paid for most of the depreciation

I'd like an E30 325 project still.

I'm in no rush to replace the 330d, but I'd go for either a newer 330d or a 123cd I reckon. Or a 135i or 335i if I don't need MPG.

My next car will be a Mk3 Octy VRS.......seeing as I ordered one this afternoon :)

Id like a mk2 vrs octy but realistically if the lady doesnt learn to drive it will be 7 seater

After spending 2 weeks driving a cheap 2litre celica GT round some of the nicest roads in Europe, I am sorely tempted to get a Celica GT4 (ST205 one) when/if funds allow.

Gees a shout and il take you for a blast in mime one night, youl want one purley for the insane induction noise

Ive got a few possibilities ATM as its going to be 4 years or so before I change. but I would like a diesel with 190+HP

1. mk3 octy vRS Diesel

2. mk6/7 golf GTD

3. BMW 330/335d

4. Mk3 fabia vRS (as long as they do a diesel version).

5. Rapid vRS if it materializes and obviously a diesel.

I like to keep cars for around five years (more if possible) so I've got about five years to think about it.  Although if my car died tomorrow, I might have to get the Defender 90 I've been threatening to buy for the last ten years.

I've got 3 years left on my MKII so I have sometime to think......

But I'd love to be in a Golf GTI or GTDI

But saying that I've had a Skoda since I passed my test at 17 and now I'm on my third one and I don't see myself leaving the fraternity anytime soon as long as Skoda keep producing good quality well priced cars!

So bring on the MKIII Fabia VRS!

Tempting offer likes. Although Im pretty sure Ill end up buying one at some point, doesn't fit what I need the now.

Actually been looking at 9n3 GTi's. Near enough a Fabia with a 1.8turbo. Theres a red one with full heated leathers on Autotrader the now that's trying to tempt me... :drunk:

My Kia has gone for some warranty work today and I have been given a Fiat 500 1.2 lounge. Its ruddy fantastic!

Couldn't test either a Megane 265 or VXR as neither dealer had one. Neither got back to me either. Not really interested in the VXR but wanted to see what the fuss was about. Megane is looking likely but there's not many 265's about plus I don't know about going to an "inferior" brand. How reliable are RenaultSport now? My cousins 182 was flawless and I was told they are all built in a separate factory from the normal cars.

Ford can get lost. Tried to see about the Fiesta ST, another car that's raved about but they only have a few to sell and all sold, no demos but I could order one and get it in a few months. Same for the Focus ST. GT86 I drove a few months back is as fantastic as everyone says but I know I'd want more power eventually which would mean modification.

Not really interested in the VXR but wanted to see what the fuss was about.

I was very impressed with it on a track. Great fun to drive flat out.

Next new car purchased will possibly be a 'Seat Leon Cupra R' as shown in todays Autocar Express,

if they build them as described there.

That's the bit that intrigued me. Lots I heard going on track and being brilliant
