Fabia vrs cruise control

Featured Replies

I've recently bought a fabia vrs mk1 and the cruise control doesn't work. I rang a skoda dealer and they said if I have the control on the stalk it should have cruise control. Anyone else had the same problem? Easy fix?

Welcome to Briskoda. Do all of your brakes lights work, including the high level one? And have you made sure that the slide switch on the front of the stalk is in the central position?

^^ This ^^

As patronising as it sounds - is cruise turned on?

as DGW says the switch has 2 full positions and temporary

right is off

middle is on with a push of the button on the end setting a speed

a pull to the left from the middle will resume the previously set speed

All of the brake lights work, and yes it's defiantly on. I spoke to someone who mentioned coding it in through a computer?

Previous owner may have attempted to retrofit it but not finished the full job.

Probably worth getting it checked over
